Airmext Airbag Shock Absorber Factory

Founded in the early 2000s, airmext airbag shock absorber factory is located in San Bernardino, California and produces their air springs in-house for a high quality product. These rear air suspension struts are installed in the same manner as coilover kits and replace your factory metal springs. They are inflated via air lines that run from the air tank to the manifold, then to each air strut. An exhaust valve opens when you want to lower your car, allowing out the air from the air strut.

The air pressure in each strut directly correlates to how stiff or soft your ride feels. Higher PSI = stiffer, lower PSI = softer. Each kit comes with a set of valving settings that will get you the best ride height and performance for your specific car. You can also add a separate air pressure gauge to monitor each strut's PSI on the fly so you can quickly tune your ride height.

The strut body features a hard rubber cone bumper inside of the air valve. This is designed to help protect the strut from impact damage when driving over rough roads. Removing this is easy and can be done without removing the springs by removing a bolt that holds it on top of the strut mount. After removing it, you can easily reach in and refill the air bags with your preferred pressure. Typically surgeon0 likes to keep them filled at 25-30 psi when not carrying heavy loads and this will raise the rear about 1/2-1" and help reduce the bounciness in the back of your car.
