While the d2 coilovers are a great product for the money, they are pretty stiff. I have the 36 step soft setting and they still feel stiffer then stock struts on my other car (Ksport). Also the bottom adjustable collars will seize up or become hard to move with time. It’s nothing a can of liquid wrench couldn’t fix, but be aware that they will require regular attention.

Overall I’ve been happy with these coilovers. They’re a bit harsh on the street and you feel every bump, but they perform as well as anything I’ve tried on my car. The ride is a lot better then stock and the handling seems to be improved.

I would buy these again and recommend them to anyone that wants to take their ride to the next level. Just be sure to use a good quality oil and keep up with the maintenance!
